We’re evolving our boarding requirements to better align with the travel industry and society, at large.
We know that all of these changes can get confusing!
Ultimately, we’re transitioning to the day when everyone can sail with us, once again.
Beginning with departures on September 5, 2022:
All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, can cruise with us on sailings departing from U.S. and Europe ports.
Testing protocols will ease on our U.S. and Europe sailings.
- We will begin accepting self-tests on sailings from U.S. ports that don’t visit Bermuda, and Europe sailings.
- For sailings 9 nights or less, vaccinated guests ages 5 and older will no longer need to test to board one of our ships, where destinations allow; and will have 3 days prior to boarding to test for sailings 10 nights or more.
- Unvaccinated guests ages 5 and older will need to test 3 days prior to boarding U.S. sailings (excluding Bermuda); and ages 12 and older for select Europe sailings.

Currently published testing and vaccination requirements remain in place for cruises from Australia and New Zealand, and the Galapagos; cruises that depart from or visit Bermuda and transatlantic sailings, until further notice.
Where local government regulations differ, we will comply with local requirements. We will continually evaluate and update these requirements and protocols as new information becomes available. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements leading up to departure.

To minimize COVID-19-related health risks to you, our crew members, and the communities we visit, we monitor the ports of call on your itinerary regularly. We consider several factors when determining if it's safe to leave the ship and go ashore – the prevalence of COVID-19 in the area, whether testing is available, and how easy it is for the locals to get vaccinated.
We've made our high-quality onboard medical care stronger than ever, with more doctors and nurses on each ship and state-of-the-art equipment enhancements. And in the event of a suspected case of COVID-19, we're fully prepared with medical evaluations, rapid testing, and more critical care on each ship.
Should you test positive for COVID-19 onboard during your cruise, you have access to our onboard medical facilities, and you have the option to stay onboard until you test negative; or, if you prefer to disembark at the end of your sailing, our team will help with information on land-based hotel or commercial flights options.
