2024 Pride Month at Sea

We’re expanding our annual fleet-wide Pride celebration to the entire month of June in 2024. Across the world, all month long, our award-winning ships will host daily LGBTQ+ gatherings, fabulous guest entertainers on select ships, a flag raising ceremony, and our signature Pride Party at Sea to cap it all off in style. LGBTQ+ Events Onboard

Our popular LGBTQ+ Welcome Parties are open to all guests fleetwide and take place on the first night of almost every cruise. This event is a great ice breaker and opportunity for people to meet. In addition to the Welcome Party, Celebrity also hosts various LGBTQ+ events and social hours onboard.

Same Sex Weddings

Celebrity Cruises is proud to offer legal same-sex marriages on board. The motion follows a transformative vote in Malta, where a majority of the Celebrity fleet is registered, which passed the country’s parliament 66-1. The long-awaited referendum opens the door for Celebrity to legally recognize same-sex marriages performed on board, and have the fleet’s captains officiate the ceremonies.

First Legal Same Sex Marriage at Sea

In a historic ceremony hosted on board Celebrity Equinox® in January 2018, Francisco Vargas and Benjamin Gray became the first same-sex couple ever to be legally married at sea on a major cruise line.
